About the Library
The Library started as a school library in a building adjacent the Akatakyiman Rural bank on campus. It was later moved to the upper flow building of Sis. Mary Rita’s –Resource Center when student population grew.
VISION
The OLACOE Library vision is to serve as the hub for qualitative teacher training, academic support, advancement in research and learning for national development.
MISSION
The OLACOE library mission is to seek to provide state of the art facilities, services and resources that support quality research, teaching, learning and training for quality education.
OPENING HOURS
- Monday: Friday 8:00 am – 9:30pm
Weekends
- Saturday Morning 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
- Sunday Evening 7:00pm – 9:30pm

Library Rules
- All phones should be on silent mode or vibration. silence is paramount in every academic library.
- All calls should be made or received outside the library
- Do not litter the library. There are dustbins around for use.
- Do not shelve library books. After use of library materials, leave them on the table.
- No food or water should enter the library.
- Leave your bags at the luggage section. do not enter the library with your bags.
